This Blog is for my Civics Project. I'll collect and write about politcal cartoons that I find amusing. Don't like it? Deal with it.

The End of the Penny
This cartoon addresses the mint stopping the production of pennies. The penny actually cost 1.5 cents to make, so the mint was losing a lot of money making these for so long. It also shows how it happened around the Christmas Season.
This cartoon interested me because I've always been a fan of Rudolph. Also, I was never too fond of pennies.
My only issue with the stopping of the penny is that prices will have to change on a lot of items. What do you do if pennies aren't around anymore and something costs $8.23?
