Julian Assange, founder of Wikileaks, was arrested not too long ago. The U.S. government was not particularly fond of him.
This cartoon interests me because I'm on the computer a lot, so I had already heard about the whole Wikileaks issue. I also picked this cartoon because it involves American Government overreaction, which we seem to be seeing a lot of lately.
This cartoon affects me because what if Canada's government secrets, if we have any, we're released? Would we react in the same way America did? Or would we just let it slide?
